About US

We started this blog because the tech world can be overwhelming. Between jargon, hype, and clickbait, it’s hard to find information that’s actually useful. X Tech Startup exists to cut through the noise and explain what’s really happening in technology, especially for people building products, writing code, or trying to keep up with where tech is going.

Who I Am

I’m a software engineer, and I started this site because most tech content misses the point. It’s either oversimplified to the point of being useless or so technical it’s unreadable.

I wanted something better. So I built the kind of tech blog I’d actually read myself.

With an engineering background and training from the Reuters journalism program, I focus on clear, accurate explanations without hype or fluff. If you’re a founder choosing tools, a developer exploring new tech, or just trying to understand what’s happening in the industry, this content is for you.

What We’re About

There’s already enough noise online. We’re not here to add to it.

X Tech Startup focuses on clear, useful tech content that actually helps. No clickbait, no hype, no algorithm games. Just information you can use.

If you’re building a startup, we share insights to help you make better decisions. If you’re a developer, we cover tools and ideas worth your time. If you’re simply curious about tech, we explain what’s happening and why it matters in plain language.

We focus on the US tech ecosystem to keep our coverage relevant, practical, and grounded in the realities of American innovation.

What You’ll Find Here

We cover the stuff that actually matters to people building and using technology:

Tech News

What’s genuinely happening in the industry, not just rehashed press releases. We dig into the business decisions, strategic shifts, and industry changes that affect your work.

AI & Tools

Practical guides on using artificial intelligence and automation, especially for startups and small teams operating without enterprise budgets. Real implementations, not theoretical possibilities.

Apps & Social Media

Analysis of the platforms you actually use daily, plus honest assessments of new tools worth trying. We’ll tell you when something’s overhyped and when it’s genuinely useful.

How-To Guides

Step-by-step tutorials written for real human beings. We don’t assume you already understand everything. We explain the why, not just the how.

Gaming & Entertainment

Where technology intersects with actual fun. Gaming trends, streaming platforms, digital media, and the tech that powers entertainment.

Founder Stories

Real accounts from people building tech companies, including the messy parts they usually gloss over in TechCrunch profiles. Failure stories matter as much as success stories.

Why Trust Us

Fair question. The internet is full of “experts” and tech sites that are really just marketing platforms pretending to be journalism.

Here’s the difference at X Tech Startup:
we actually build technology.

I write code. I work with real systems. I understand how software, platforms, and infrastructure function behind the scenes, not just how companies describe them in press releases. That technical background means when something is explained here, it comes from real understanding, not surface-level summaries.

On top of that, I’m trained in journalism. That means facts are checked, sources are verified, and claims are questioned. We separate what companies say from what’s actually happening. We don’t rewrite press releases and we don’t dress ads up as articles.

If we recommend a tool, it’s because we believe it’s genuinely useful.
If we criticize a product, strategy, or trend, it’s because the analysis supports it, not because of personal bias or paid influence.

Everything on X Tech Startup is written for real people with limited time who want clear, accurate information. No keyword stuffing. No filler paragraphs written just to hit word counts. No oversimplifying complex topics until they lose their meaning.

We’re human, and technology moves fast. That means sometimes things change or we get something wrong. When that happens, we correct it openly instead of quietly editing and hoping no one notices.

Our goal is simple:
honest tech journalism, grounded in real technical experience, written for people who actually want to understand what’s going on.
