Google has announced the launch of the “Apps Growth Lab 2023: Pakistan” program, a highly selective education program designed to accelerate the growth of high-potential early-stage Gaming and Tools & Utilities studios. The App Growth Lab in Pakistan program will provide access to over 25 Google and industry experts, valuable resources, and support sessions to help local developers succeed.
The program will have three key phases: Education, Support, and Graduation. The Education phase will consist of four content-packed livestreams where developers will learn how to build their businesses, develop great apps and games, launch their apps and games successfully, and scale their business to new heights. The Support phase will provide access to Office Hours sessions, where developers will have the opportunity to interact live with a curated panel of mentors across Google Ads, Google Play, Technical Support (Firebase and Measurement), and International Growth (Export).
According to Farhan Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, the App Growth Lab program demonstrates Google’s dedication to supporting the sustainable growth of the developer ecosystem in Pakistan. “Through our ongoing efforts, we hope to support Pakistani developers in their pursuit of creating great applications for the world,” he added.
Upon completing the requirements of the program, developers will have access to an exclusive in-person graduation event in Lahore in October. The program will launch in June 2023, and interested organizations, app, and development studios can apply until May 22, 2023. Google’s App Growth Lab program will help Pakistan’s app industry grow sustainably by providing local developers with the necessary education, support, and expertise to succeed in the international market.
